How close are we really to our fathers?
This project explores love, distance, and what remains unspoken.

Ich suche queere Söhne – schwul, trans oder männlich gelesen – die gemeinsam mit ihrem Vater porträtiert werden möchten.

I’m looking for queer sons – gay, trans, or male-presenting – willing to be photographed with their father.

Wen ich suche

• Du identifizierst dich als schwul, trans oder queer

• Du hast (noch) Kontakt zu deinem Vater – egal ob eng, distanziert oder kompliziert

• Ihr könnt euch vorstellen, gemeinsam fotografiert zu werden

Who I'm looking for

• You identify as gay, trans, or queer

• You’re still in contact with your father – whether close, distant, or complicated

• You’re both open to being photographed together

Wie läuft das ab?

• Ich fotografiere vor Ort bei den Personen zu Hauses oder “Location” entsprechend unserer Absprache.

• Idealerweise treffen wir uns für die Aufnahmen am Ort des Vaters, des Sohnes oder an einem Ort, der für beide eine besondere Bedeutung hat.

• Umsetzung des Projektes in Berlin, Bayern, Deutschland und ganz Europa (vielleicht sogar weltweit).

• Vorgespräch telefonisch, online oder persönlich.

• Keine Veröffentlichung ohne Zustimmung (schriftliche Vereinbarung wird getroffen).

• Ihr erhaltet einen Print als Dankeschön

How does it work?

• I photograph on-site at the people's homes or locations as agreed upon.

• Ideally, we meet for the portraits at the place where the father or son lives, or at a place that has special meaning for both of them.

• Implementation of the project in Berlin, Bavaria, Germany, and throughout Europe (perhaps even worldwide).

• Preliminary discussions by phone, online, or in person.

• No publication without consent (written agreement will be made).

• You will receive a print as a THANK YOU.
